Review: Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
Movie goers showed that they were ready to come back to the theaters and escape. And escape they did. The heartbeat of the movie theater was kept beating . . .
Review: Nobody (2021)
One thing an actor doesn’t want to do is fall victim to typecast and Bob was able to avoid that when he transitioned from comedy to acting and now he’s shattered all sense of expectation by taking on a gritty action role as he did in Nobody.
Review: When We First Met (2018)
Admittedly, on the Dude, What?! Movie Review Podcast, out of the two hosts, I would have to say I am more in tune with and more of a fan of the Romantic Comedy (RomCom) genre than Jim Miller would ever admit to.
Review: Army Of The Dead (2021)
The action was on point and exactly what it needs to be for a “zombie movie,” but what intrigued me was the side storytelling of Scott Ward (Dave Bautista) and the emotional toll this outbreak has taken on him.
Review: Message From The King (2016)
Having spent a lot of time in recent memory reflecting over the career that was and could have been of Chadwick’s, I felt it was necessary for me to add Message from the King to the mountain of movies I must see. If anything, as a tribute to the wonderful actor who gave us brilliant performance after brilliant performance.
Review: The Big Lebowski (1998)
While The Dude is a flawed character, he has a big heart and real lovable nature to him that over the course of the film, you can’t help but fall in love with and root for him to figure out the mess he’s gotten himself into
Review: Tropic Thunder (2008)
The writing is so damn smart and so damn good that it keeps you vested in the story from beginning to end. There are times that certain parts of the audience will find things offensive as you watch the movie and its certainly understandable.
Review: Back to the Future III (1990)
I absolutely love westerns. Some great, rich stories have been told within the western genre, but I gotta admit....I wasn’t sure what to expect the first time watching this knowing that it would be predominantly western. However, once this portion of the story kicked in, I was hooked!
Review: Along Came Polly (2004)
The key to having a great romantic comedy, is making the characters relatable and having great dialogue and character interaction to help push the story along.
Review: Dude, Where’s My Car? (2000)
This film goes from 0 to 100 on the ridiculousness scale and the proverbial snowball down the mountain causes an avalanche of dumbness that crushes everything in its path.
Review: Dr. Bones (1990)
The intro from this song was, and always will be, the only song that could possibly be the driving force for the Dude, What?! show opening. Without it, a small part of our podcast loses its identity.
Review: Baseketball (1998)
Silliness like this and the heated scene where both friends talk to each other using only the word “Dude” (which has found a home in the intro to our show), along with a lot of really smart, funny writing make this film a classic that everyone should watch at least one time.
Christmas 2020
By the time you reach the end of the show, you feel ready. Ready to wrap presents. Ready to go driving and look at Christmas lights. Ready to go shopping for the perfect gift. Ready for Christmas.
Thanksgiving 2020
Since the conception of our little show, we’ve made a very conscious effort to highlight three quarters of these major holidays in a very big way, but one could argue that Thanksgiving carries the lion’s share of the holiday love. . .
